The purpose of the thread was to get other people to share some good tricks as well. Does anyone have any good tricks to share?

 

There are many "tips" which don't give your any benefits except some traffic...

Of course they give you benefits except for the traffic. If your bulding links to get direct traffic i don't think that many of my links will do you any good, unless you do a really good job and never stop building..

The reason do go through my list is to build up heaps of incoming links, which will lead to an improved ranking in the search engines, which again will give you more traffic. If your looking for direct traffic from your links I suggest you expand your budget to buy links from high trafficed sites, invest in PPC or write some kick ass content that will get you featured on digg and other social sites.

 

i started of reading your post without any interest coz i need to leave right away. But when i started to scan I was stuck up here until 5 min coz reading that post took me 5min. Thank you for sharing your valuable link building tips.

 

Great post, thanks for taking the time to make that list and put it up, even though it has some of yours secrets. I don't think directory submission is completely dead. I had a site pick up some ground after having a co. do it for me.
