Is there any need for a hosted sitemap generation service?

I guess this ought to be a poll but I can't find a decent hosted sitemaps generator.

I want a service that generates a new sitemap each month, allows me to manipulate the priorites (once) and then uploads and/or pings.

The only services I see right now are either downloads (which I hate) or troublesome PHP scripts.

I might be tempted to create such a service if we get enough interest....

Thanks for that but I can only find one or possibly two vaguely similar services.
Most of the free ones only do 100-500 pages per site and some just don't work.

I was thinking of something a little more professional than any of those but still, if the general feeling is that this is a well serviced market then perhaps there isn't room for a slicker product....?

 

I was going to recommend google the same as mistnee. Have you tried searching in google for a site that does this? Alternatively you could pay someone to do it in the BST section.

sorry, I guess my original post wasn't very clear.

I'm saying that as far as I know, there isn't a professional, hosted sitemap generation service and I'm trying to get a general feel if DP users feel there is a need for one.

If there is, I might create one
