Anyone use Aweber?

I'm thinking about setting up a newsletter on one of my better-selling product sites. Do a lot of people sign up for the newsletter who wouldn't have bought the product?

Is Aweber easy enough to use?

Aweber is by far the best, most marketers use them. They are very easy to use, and have the best features. If you get an autoresponder it should definitely be Aweber. Nothing but high praise from me. Check out my sig.

Do I have to give all my business information to Aweber, and does it show that information to the people subscribed to the newsletter?

And when I subscribe, can I run more than one newsletter from them or do I have to pay more for each one I run?

Aweber lets you run as many lists as you want and they are very easy to use. When someone subscribes they will get a message from aweber making sure they want to sign up. I think the fact that it comes from aweber helps.

I have to disagree with Last..I have accounts with yahoo...Gmail...Hotmail...and Aweber by far...has the best deliver rate. If Im not mistaken ..they may still have a 30 day freebie and all signups are double optin..so your butt is covered with any Spam laws.......Im probably on over 200 lists (yeah..I study the competition)...and I would say over 90 percent use aweber.

So does Aweber require you to give your business information? And do they show that information to everyone who signs up for your newsletter?

I have newsletter software like Effective Newsletter Studio. I might just use it. But I don't know how the email addresses work or the form for getting people to sign up. Or the smtp way to work it.

How does subscribing and unsubscribing work? Do you just use regular email addresses or do you have to set them up some special way?

Yes you have to give your business information. You can change the address that is shown to list members to whatever address you want to use as long as it is a valid mailing address.

Actually they do mail you a welcome letter along with a rolodex card with all their information to the mailing address you use when you sign up.

I use Aweber as well, the customer support is exceptional. They usually respond the same day to support questions. I have tried several other autoresp. and Aweber is definatly one of the easiest to use.

Having one of the best delivering rate does not mean that legitimate aweber emails do not end up in the spam folder

So I do repeat - although I do not have anything against aweber - even legitimate emails sent through aweber end up in the spam folder

I checked and it happened like this for me

I have to add that yahoo and friends are quite crazy about spam because even some emails sent by myself from a yahoo account to the same email address end up in the spam folder too (not always fortunately)

Aweber is one of the best (if not the best) email marketing solution out there anyway

    ;)

I have been using Aweber for many years, and I think it's the best I have tried (and I have tried a few). Their support is also great, and that's important. If you look at their blog, you will also see some very good training on what to do and how to use their service to become successful at what you do.

I have nothing but great things to say about Aweber.

Thanks for all the answers. I'm just not in love with the whole business information being available to subscribers as I sell products typically to Americans and in American dollars while my business is in Canada.

Thinking about getting a virtual office or something. Not sure.

I really don't think you are going to have a problem if customers in the US know you are in Canada. If you did I would be extremely shocked.

AWeber is the best autoresponder with perfect technical support - just e-mail them at midnight to try :)

If you are an advanced PHP developer you may try PHPList - Free but lack of follow up messages.
