Even if they are Wisdtom, for the sake of argument, If Iran invaded America and was winning, I'm sure canada would slip the America a hand...
You had better tell that to the Wall Street Journal and the US Military, I don't think they are aware of that. C'mon Guerilla, I mean, really.
well generals and other major commanders threatened to leave the army if US invades Iran. And if a draft is indeed instated. Personally I would rather not go and im sure thousands of others wouldn't either. If that were to happen im sure the american people would rather go to war with our government than with another country after this disaster. Either way a draft will not work. I am sure that large group of military aged civilians won't stand for it. and all we need is 10-30% of those numbers to stand up to the government and make a stand. If there gonna put out a draft were gonna fight it and they will be forced to either take back the draft or put thousands if not hundreds of thousands into already over populated prisons. Either way if we do invade iran and a draft is called im moving to canada if americans won't stand up and fight these stupid Ideas. If it is for a good reason that we invade iran like if they due truely attack us. I will honorably join the army and fight for my country but not for another invasion like IRAQ
dont worry no war against iran. if the attack iran then they gonna ride donkey instead of cars as oil price hit $500 a barrel.
The WSJ was beating the drum for war with Iran before the NIE came out. These are the same people who tell us the surge is working, that Saddam had WMDs etc. It used to be, Iranians are equipping Al Queda. But that myth was busted, because Iran is Shia and Al Queda is Sunni. Now I'm supposed to believe that Iran is equipping the rebels that are fighting the Iran friendly government? Do you know why we haven't invaded Iran yet? No smoking gun. If we had a captured Iranian operative, that would be a smoking gun. If we had proof of nuclear development, that would be a smoking gun. The propagandists have gone out of their way to paint Ahmadinejad and Iran as some supreme evil, which if that was the case, why did they step in and negotiate with Al Maliki to back down in the recent conflagration with Al Sadr? As someone above mentioned, there are US Generals who are adamant about not attacking Iran. Do we really believe that if they believed Iran was attacking them, they are too scared or intimidated to strike back? What I am saying is what I am always saying. Something smells fishy...
It's a possibility, since the majority is not for a war at the moment (I think) or they could "twist" Ahmadinejad's words again and repeat it daily.
will these hate mongers care if it reached $500? I do not think so before Iraq war barrel was around $20 now its around $100, Making them richer and the poor poorer.. Under false accusations USA went to fight an Israeli war sacrificing its people for nothing, no links with Al-Qaeda, no weapons of mass destruction, and Iraqi people do not want them there. It won't be surprising if USA fought another Israeli war, as in Libya strike, 1967, Lebanon, Iraq, and of course they can't say we are fighting for the chosen, but what they will do to silence the masses thats what worries me.
America knows its enemies. We do not need to rely on foreigners like you to tell us what our interests are. You want, and you try to turn America against Israel, because it suits your interests not America's. America will not be a pawn for the Arab/Muslim nations in their quest to destroy Israel. By the way, you still have not answered how many Palestinians is your country keeping locked in virtual prison camps and denying full rights to?
who am I to turn America against Israel? yes its true that I wish America would stop its aids not only to Israel but also to some Arab countries mainly Egypt and Jordan, I think now American people needs it more than Israeli war criminals, and corrupted lazy Arab Governments. your question about refugee camps shows how much ignorant you are about this topic, Palestinian refugees, and I am one of them, have all the rights same like Jordanians, including their right to determine their future, do business, education, own properties..etc and have representatives in the Parliament, many been able to to build/buy their own houses and leave the camps since long ( my family in early 70's) by the way, the camps are mostly managed by UN/UNRWA not Jordanian Government. try to read about them and educate yourself a little about the topic
I hope both countries can live in peace, prosper together, Israel at the moment needs the labor from Palestinians. Palestine can earn much need revenue and also had jobs to support themselves. It is really time to built up the economy and be a strong country rather than have all the people living in refugee camps. This is a tragedy. The Arab countries with their vast wealth should donate the necessary technical expertise and capital to help Palestine too. What I see at this moment are just opportunists trying to use Palestine as a pawn in furthering their own ambitions. Also please no war on Iran, USA just lost nearly $1 trillion for the world with regards to the sub prime. Another $3 trillion projected for the Iraq war. The 2006 estd total world GDP (PPP) courtesy of Wikipedia is only about $65 trillion. Lets use it for peace.
You're one to talk. Boy you sure showed him! Zionists (Christian, Jewish or otherwise) don't like to confront their victims in public.
a gitmo link? Wow, that really showed me. I am happy to fully address the treatment of Palestinians in Jordanian refugee camps. Of course, that was not quite the question he decided to answer.
That is funny. All you do is throw rocks (at The United States) ... and kick around and buy into a couple conspiracy theories for good measure. It must be fun to keep posting criticisms of the US government and its various positions and actions. You like to play this game where you take no responsibility for your government but at the same time bitch about how it does you and the world wrong. It is pretty funny that you want to tag me with gitmo, when you support the republican party that put us into war. (but that is your little game. Take no responsibility and just throw stones and accuse America, accuse everyone, everyone is bad, government is evil. That way you pretend you are not just as responsible for it all as any citizen) You take no responsibility for anything American has done and you seem to take a peculiar glee in pointing out every possible negative light in which to view an incident - and then there is your little penchant for finding a way to side with everyone who 'hates' Israel. Cut through the bs and your view is pretty simple to see.
what we talk here is American current gov not america as a nation. Can't you see what the US gov done ? attcked a country killed almost 1 million civilian.
I guess it was a conspiracy theory that we helped to destroy democracy in iran even though its in the library of national congress. Its been 50 years and never once have i have i heard a formal appology to the iranian people from our government for taking away their democratically elected leader mossadegh who posed no harm to any american ever.
How am I responsible for it? I totally disapprove of it. Was every German guilty of Hitler's crimes? On the other hand, you're an enabler. You'll post all day to defend the status quo, or to defend violence as necessary or just. What I think is the issue here, is that we're both principled you just don't want to own up to the fact that your principles are rotten to the core. And as far as being Republican, I support conservative principles, not this re-writing of history under Bush that the GOP is the war party. Re: Israel, you have some particular affinity or obsession with that country. I do not. I just know that our relationship with Israel makes us less safe in the world. I know that they get away with tactics that Iran would be invaded over. They are allowed to stockpile nukes, and not participate in the NPT, but if Iran wants nuclear power, they must be invaded. So much hypocrisy. I don't want to see anyone invaded. Is it too much to hold Israel to the same standards you are so quick to hold Jordan, Iran, Palestine etc too? Why can't we expect our allies to be good citizens in the world? And if they are not, why do we continue our alliances?
Nice article here by Justin Raimondo of Antiwar.com, as always, loaded with sourced information. The Prime Directive U.S. war plans targeting Iran are all about "protecting" Israel http://www.antiwar.com/justin/j051208b.html Some excerpts
