    I think he is just the mouth piece for his superiors. What they want him to say, he is just saying it out. A soldier's duty is to obey.

    Indeed, he may be the most politicized American General ever.

    What he says isn't the revelation, it's what he doesn't say that matters.

    I don't blame him, a soldier has to do what a soldier has to do. I blame the political masters behind him.

    We will always have military bases in Iraq to secure that region of the world. We have bases in all the countries we have defeated. We are a warring nation that's what we do. We spent at least $600 million on an Embassy in Iraq.
    You ought to see this thing here's a picture of it being constructed.

    I think immediate pull out would be a potential disaster within the most volatile part of the world.

    I would love for us to remove our forces. I think that a new president should rev up every which way to get the hell out of Iraq without leaving a huge mess in a power vaccuum.

    The only way we can resolve this problem we have is we pull our troops out of Iraq immediately and we parachute G.W.Bush and Cheney in the middle of the "Green Zone" and let them sort it out. Problem solved!

    USA can have 160,000 soldiers, fortify the green zone and make 600 million dollar embassy but it was clear who controls Iraq when Iranian president visited Bagdad without big Army and tank support, didn't need to stay in green zone and even went for a walk in the city. :D

    Wont the Iranian President be afraid of Al Qaeda? Shiites support him but definitely not Sunnis and Al Qaeda.

    Sunni are the minority, and you can be sure Ahmadinejad was touring Shi'ite suburbs.

    With all of the ethnic cleansing, supposedly most cities are very divided and separated into ethnic neighborhoods.

    As far as Al Queda in Iraq, I always though that was BS. Just another way of conflating Iraq with 9/11. I mean, where are the captured Al Queda from Iraq? Where are they based out of? How many are there? How many have been captured?

    Friggin McCain keeps trying to tie Al Queda to Iran now. Think about that.

    Since 9/11,

    Taliban = Al Queda
    Saddam Hussein = Al Queda
    The Mahdi Army = Al Queda
    Iran = Al Queda
    Sunni Militia = Al Queda
    Iraqi Freedom Fighters = Al Queda

    Pretty much, anything Muslim, is AL QUEDA. :rolleyes:

    Frankly in this case, USA should more or less ally with Iran and get themselves out of Iraq asap rather than maintain a 160 000 army and 600 million dollars embassy. It is quite weird but US army per soldier expenditure seemed to be fantastically high. Haven't they been taught that a 155 mm howitzer shell can do the same damage at 1/10000 the price of a precision missile?

    That is because he is a completely insane misinformed lunatic mate. I have to hold out on the swearing otherwise I would have picked up another warning here. :D

    My infraction count is actually only 1 point, that's pretty good for me because sometimes I cannot resist calling Insane McWar out for the dangerous prick that he is. :p
