I am after some mascots for my site. they must be original and not edited clip art. The sort of mascot i want is of a young urban person, u know tshirt, baggy jeans, trainers ,i.e. graffiti artist or wannabe rap star. The tshirt/jumper/top will need to have B2D on it. also any other ideas you can come up with would be helpful I would like a few different positions of the same character. 1. One of him leaning against something (thats not there, so i can add him against anything i want like a logo) 2. one of him pointing at something 3. one of him sitting in a desk chair (this sort of thing (http://bannersgalore.net/portfolio12.html 4. another i will leave upto you. They will have to come from the same artist as i want the character to look the same to give my site a consistant flow. Also some future work would be available on the same character at a later date as/when i need some more of him but we can negoiate on a price for later work. size would need to be quite large so i can down scale to the different sizes i need. psd or vector files are ok. you dont need to make four different positions when previewing them to me just choose one of the above positions. i am offering $25 per character. so $100 for the winner and the promise of future work on same character. If you need any more info please get in touch. i will not give a time date as i know mascots can take a little time but i do need these asap, so no time limit but will close this when i see the one i want. i hope you can take the time to enter my contest and please water mark your designs. i would not want your hard work be ripped off by people viewing this contest. Here's my shot at it - 100% Vector - I completed 2 out of 4 so far. If these 2 are acceptable, then I'll continue working on the final 2, if not, I'll stop now & archive what I've done so far for a future prospect. - Let me know - - Feedback Appreciated -
watari : Really like the look of this character, everytime i see your work it gets better all the time, would love to see some colour on this. Ariestoteles : seen your work many times before and very impressed with what you do, is there any chance you could make a mockup of character for me, so i can get a feel for the sort of guy that would be going on my site. scorpionagency : you have got the idea of a "wanna be rapper" down to a T , but im looking for a little more cartoony feel. On this occassion its not really what im looking for but many thanks for your input. still would love to see some other entries but watari was right on the money with their design. Will leave this open for a while to see if anyone else is interested but thank everyone so far for there inputs.
Thanks for your feedback, sorry my illustration/cartoon style isn't what your looking for. I did enjoy making them though, So thank you for holding the competition. I'm sure more designers will be along with their style concepts, I wish you all the best of success!
l3fty : I like the overall sketch. although i did say "wannabe rapstar". could you take the mic out (my mistake in not describing in more detail) and have him pointing to the right as if he was pointing at something on the screen. would love to see some colour in him and more features in the face. thanks. You can't use others work as your own... I am pretty sure I've seen these somewhere... at least the one on the left.

Watari : thanks for the update, im still very very impressed with the mascot, i dont think i could ask you to change anything as i think its very near to what we are looking for. l3fty : thanks for the update, im impressed with the mascot but prefer a mascot with a little more detail. Im gonna leave this open for a while, at least till the weekend, to give any mascot designers a go at this contest. Anyone wishing to jump in a have go is really welcome. Im gonna be using the mascot on my web design company, and will be offering out mascots as part of our service then freelancing that out, as im not good at mascots. Of course the winner of this contest will also get any work for mascots that get enquired about from my site. Im not saying i will get any enquiries of that matter but any future work will be passed on to the winner of this contest. Im hoping that the design and look of the mascot will also bring me work in. As said im not promising to get you any work but would like to be able to have some freelance mascot/logo designers for if/when i do get orders for them. Look forward to any other designs.
