Earned $2.56/click from a dead blog!

It's amazing!! I stopped working on this blog for 3 months now but still I am getting 50 to 80 visitors per day and sometimes 5...I don't know what is happening with this blog but today I got 1 click with $2.56... I have only 12 visitors today...

Seems I am motivated again to continue this recipe blog...it's http://allsoups.blogspot.com .. see my last post..it's been couple of months ago but still some people visit and click on my ads and I don't know the source of visitors...

The last day I promoted this site was sept. 17 and also my last post... I almost forgot this blog until I received some traffic and clicks today...and I said I don't know where the traffic came from..

It's just a blof og recipes with non-updated content.. I wonder too..

Maybe your blog visitors are from the search engines. Anyway, good for you though.

 

That is possible..because I did never done any direct advertising for this..

 

Put a tracker on it like StatCounter or something similar. It will allow you to see where your visitors are coming from.

 

Does stat counter can identify the traffic is used in subdomains?

Well I am thinking of doing some research and postings plus promotion during week ends only because of loads of article writing projects after my regular work.. it helps a little to my adsense earnings anyway...

It works with Blogger if that's what you mean. Try it and see. It's very easy to set up and it's free. There are others as well like ExtremeTracker.

 

Maybe with a index update your posts got further up the index for some keywords. It wouldn't hurt to put some kind of tracking program code upon it. I have a few sites that I don't update at all and brings a steady 25 visitors that gets me 50 cents a day everyday. Those type of sites add up over time and get you some nice pocket change.
