Sounds kinda generic to me. I get those from time to time. Is his/her site relevant to your subject?

 

I think the emil was automated and the guy just placed (insert here) instead of the actual url of the site.

Nothing really funny though.

I received the email and it said (insert here) instead of my url. I was just the lack of effort and the fact he thinks I'm going to do the exchange. If he doesn't put any effort into his emails, then what is his site going to be like!

 

nothing is funny it's a normal link request mail may be he is very busy person or may be he is not familiar with english so he have made some mistakes we have to understand this

but if you had an email saying (insert here) instead of your url would you not think 1) they didn't really look at your site, 2) that they don't really care if they can't be bothered to type in the url.

May be he is confused or tensed. But it is normal mail nothing funny.
