I've ordered one of those today! Really small but with a dual core 2.2Ghz and 4Gb ram . It's £750/60,000...still really good value. Here
Well, aside from considering the model and price, you must also consider if there are service centers and parts available in your area. Like my sister, she was using a computer and was assigned to a certain area, it took the repairman one month to secure a part since it was ordered from another country. Though you can just order online but it would be advisable to have parts readily available for your laptop should it needs repair or part replacement.
I have purchased this one Sony VGN - CD 35G And its amazing great features i paid 60 k for this as i took one cordless mouse too and upgraded to 3 gb ram
Dell is good it seems. Man I ownED HP, Toshiba and Dell. I feel dell is good. My HP doesnt have very good heat sinks and is really bugging with switch off. Dell XPS is good.
If you are looking for performance then I will prefer to go for DELL. Another Option is HP Pavillion series. I am using HP Pavillion DV6000 with Vista and I am happy with the performance. I didn't get a single problem in last 2 years.. Never need to format it.
