Not so clear about your question. Few months ago I had a blog about mmorpg game and it was not bad at all. I got around 10 cents a click and few times a month $1+ a click.
I know you said not arcades. But the keywords gaming, games etc are basically the same so ill give you my two cents anyway. IT SUCKS! About 1 - 10 cents like that person said. Max of 19 cents per click. And thats an absolute max
Not all gaming is the same. Keywords related to mmorpg's will pay a bit more, but as a whole I'll agree that gaming is not the most lucrative niche to be in.
Does not pay more then any other keyword in this category( I have a MMOPRG portal ). The only thing I can suggest is to pick the best category you know, eventually we are back to simplicity - more visitors - more profit.
Click earnings may be very low, but I've also noticed that there is am immense amount of CPM ads that occur in the "MMORPG" realm, so with some decent traffic you earn even when people don't click.
The 'Buy WoW Gold' Adverts can pay out between $0.60 and $1.20 a click, but I also noticed these would only appear on my non gold buying related site, but rather my sites dedicated to helping people in the game.
