I am a picky eater, but don't know if I eat anything really "weird". Probably the closest I come is that I get chili on my Grilled Sourdough Bacon Cheeseburger at Hardee's. I like the potato chip sandwiches too. On one weird note I guess, I will not eat anything green (well except M & Ms).
Cow tongue is so good. It tastes no different than any part of the cow and it's so tender. I have a friend who won't eat salad because it's "rabbit food" and "tastes like water."
Since its about weird foods, then I think frog would be one of the weird food I have eaten. It was fried and was very crispy. The skin was taken out and it taste like chicken.
Escargot (Snails) , Oysters, crab,, lobster, prawns, calamari (Squid). Those are about the oddest things I'll eat. My brother once ate a chicken heart to gross us out. Does that count?
I remember eating a prawns brain when I was 8, I thought it would add to my intelligence Honestly, I love salt and vinegar chips with banana, one of the best things to try Daniel
When my mom was pregnant she used to mix cream cheese, peanut butter and relish and make us sandwiches for out school lunch, EEEWWWWWWWW!
Nah, I just got new clear plastic containers awhile ago, my cereal & catfood are both on top of the fridge & I just happened to look at the two sitting together & thought about it after I'd read this thread & went to get a drink. The real strangest food I eat is probably raw oysters.
I've had frog legs before. I don't like it because it looks weird, yeah it does taste like chicken but the look of it makes me squeamish. I've never had prawns, before. I have had turkey heart before. After Thanksgiving my mom will put everything into a soup including the hearts and liver and stuff. I actually like the heart.. it's not raw of course, it tastes the same as any turkey part, but it's really tender. It actually taste more like the white meat. My dad has had czernina which is duck blood soup. He doesn't like it though, he says it's too sweet. His mom used to make it for their family when he was a kid.
That's really interesting, because your profile says you're from Boston. What led you to eat iguana? Is it a family dish? I've actually never heard of that. I like to try different foods, but I think I'd feel bad about eating an iguana... it would be like eating someone's pet.
