pizza.net - 3 days till end - at $500k

Pizza.net is on auction at TDNAM (https://www.tdnam.com/trpItemListing.aspx?miid=11855005). The current highest offer is $500k with 3 days till auction end.

What do you think how much it will sell for? The highest .net sale is sex.net for ~$480k at TRAFFIC. Guess pizza is more popular than sex, huh? ;)

It's developed, but it receives very low traffic. Basically, bidders are bidding on the domain only.

which is why im saying that is probably stupidest domain purchase ive seen (lately) for the various reasons listed above. It's at 20% of .com price. That is not right. It's got a bid over sex.net for basically a domain only sale. Also not right. It also hasn't met reserve at that 500k mark. This just stinks of shill bidding.

The WHOIS on pizza.com hasn't changed yet - so it's not a done deal.
I suspect both .com and .net are being sold to speculators not end users. $2.6 million and $500,000 is quite a lot to gamble that there is a bigger fool out there.

Are you kidding me? With a name like Pizza.com/.net you can turn it into a business if you're creative enough.

I would say that you wouldn't even have to be that creative; the domain is gold on its own.

Guess the owners set the reserve so high as he's expecting it to sell similarly to pizza.com

I don't think it could ever come close to $2.6mil like pizza.com.

$575,000 is huge... I wonder what the reserve price is.
