I just want a fair person to watch that penalty again. It is not a penalty, and the defender didn't touch him.
The referee presented this gift to lucky Liver...

Amazing game. Looking forward to Man u v Roma tomorrow.

Liverpool had a great selection of goals, Hypia's header was great.

For a neutral like me who doesn't support any team in the Champions League that was the best game i've seen for a long time. Both sides went for it and weren't afraid to play defensive football, which Liverpool could have done.

Got to ask the question if your a Liverpool fan, but why can they turn on the performances on the European nights but when it comes to the nitty gritty of the league they are poor. I'd be frustrated if I was a Liverpool fan because if they play like they did tonight in every match they'd easy be challenging for the Premier League.

I think the way Ryan Babbel fell he was clearly impeded, they didn't show that fabregas had a tug first before toure. Everyone is looking for contact with Toure's leg but he is just a clumsy fellow and run right into Babbel because he was the wrong side of him.

Walcott did well for the goal I think he maybe should be put in place of Eboue who is a bit of a baby IMO.

Unlucky Arsenal but someone had to lose! I hope you pip Manc Scum to the title would be great do them over on Sun!!

Yes we are not too far behind in the PL either., it's been the closest we've been for ages. It is because Rafa didn't play Torres at the start of the season and we have drawn far too many games! Also there were games early on in the season like against Chelsea where we were clearly cheated by the ref, whose judgement was that bad he got banned for a game or two. That game is a 6 pointer.

Another problem is mr Ferguson has an influence on the PL greatly, he controls officials and agents. He constantly asks for added time and puts the blame where it is not needed. There is a lack of penalties at Old Trafford. He snatches players from other teams who are about to sign illegally, this has been proven in the past. His son is another dodgy dealer. Players like Rooney swear at the ref week in week out and get nout, while poor players like Mascherano get heavy punishments for asking questions. I haven't got the time but if you listed the incidents you would see how big an influence it has on the outcome of the league.

I would be more disappointed seeing what great games are played in England, but not so much by England!

    And I am...

    Is it just the foreigners?

It's a penalty and it's not depending on the day obviously, there was an exact or near exact instance in the first leg where Kuyt pulled Helb and there was nothing.

Very great game though , i'm a good loser. But is there a reason they dont use the same ref for both legs? Making sure all the deserving refs get a piece of the pie eh?

Liverpool continues to live a fairytale in this competition.

England as a football team are a joke.

They are the biggest joke ever since RIO FERDINAND was made captain.
I'm not going to even list the things he's done wrong, and he was used to represent England. Looks like Capello is another joker.

The worst part of this game was the foul made by Toure, there was no need at all.2 more defenders were in front of Babel,so there was no need to foul him from behind. It was a definite penalty.
The best part was the big run by Walcott,he is the future player. He has that rare style to pass defenders.Normal European players don't know how to cross a defender,in those cases they pass the ball to other players or loose it.And another big thing-"Adebayor".He seems to be suffering from Polio!!!He has no control over his body.Always looses the ball in cheap,he gives wrong passes,he doesn't have good first touch,he doesn't have good reflex. The only thing he can do is running fast when there is no defender. He scored too many goals, but IMPO he is not suitable in that Arsenal outfit. He wastes too many chances.
Arsenal is a team of emotional players, they look pretty much in disarray when they eat a goal and pretty much excited when they score a goal.May be that penalty foul was result of that excitement. They seem to have only 11 good players. So when anyone gets injured it seems a big loss. The absence of Falamini was too big to notice.Gilberto only knows how to foul opponents.
Arsenal gave me a big heartech.I am a big fan of football(not any particular club),love to see good football.I don't want to see,Liverpool,a team with such bad playing style playing in champions league Semi Final or Final :(
