Is it proxy network, blog network, niche network? I really would like to know from someone who has made $100 a day before. Thanks
There is no magic formula. To make $5 a day or $500. Find a niche that gets traffic, build a blog or site that has something to offer your visitors, do some good SEO, and you'll make money. Unless you have an established site that already gets traffic, you won't go from $1 / day to $100 / day overnight. It takes time. I don't make $100 a day yet, but I make $30 a day from one little game site that get's about 700 visitors a day. Imagine if you can create a site that gets 5000 visitors a day. Traffic is the only way to make the money you want.
A variety of niches could do it, SEO will play a part, you could do it with one site or using a small network, as stated by christian231, no magic formula to achieving this.
No that's pretty close to accurate. I mean it fluctuates between say $20-$30, but I average between 700-900 uniques a day. CRT is about 3%. I have one adsense square that people just seem to click the hell out of. Odd for a game site, but it's a good little niche. I'll take it while it lasts.
Really? It's very good. You earn $30 per day for 700 visitor, But i earn $40 per day for 26000 visitor . lol
depends...I noticed that the number of visitors dropped a bit my earning increased! a bit weird. I would say pick a niche market, thats going to get you good money.
traffic is all what friends say but how to get it,nobody is saying. i would appreciated if somebody can tell me how to get traffic. I know that people buy traffic but isn't there any sites where you can get free traffic or by means of surfing sites. What are other ideas behind getting traffic? i don't have money to buy traffic so.....
Everyone wants instant gratification..which won't happen unless you have a huge budget. Organic traffic, i.e. search engine traffic, is the best, targeted traffic you can get. If you do proper link building, have a good niche, and have a site that is well optimized, in a few months, you'll see good search engine rankings and your traffic will grow. Or you can spend several hundred dollars a day on CPC and you'll get instant traffic.
Pretty much summed up there. If you're looking for an "easy" way, AdSense probably isn't for you. I was just talking with someone who has had a blog for 8 months and is wondering why he isn't making at least $20/day yet.
I had a guy pm me who saw this thread. He has two generic blogspot blogs, a month old apiece and he has no traffic and no visitors. He said he needs to make a hundred bucks quick, what should he do? I really had no answer for him. If you aren't willing to put in the time and energy, you aren't going to make any money in the short or long term.
The problem is, as you said, instant gratification. The internet does a lot of that just by the nature of it, but when you're trying to make money online, it's a different ballgame. What most don't do is treat it like a business. If you'd treat it like a business, you'd be much more successful. Mange your time. Mange your budget. Expense for things. It sucks that all day people read blogs, forums, and anything else out there where people got luck and made $5k, $50k, $5mil in a single month. That just isn't realistic and doesn't happen all the time. A majority of the people making a living online treat it like a business and work hard at it, even more so then a 9-5er, but they love it.
Good post...very true. I've been working at making money online for about 6 months now and I treat it like a second job. I have a schedule of marketing, link building, seo tasks to perform every week, and I go through them like it was my job. At the moment, I'm probably making $800 a month from my efforts, and a lot of that goes back into the sites. Paying for link building, advertising etc. Unfortunately I have a real job that I work 9+ hours a day also, but I have down time when i can work on my other stuff. As you said, making thousands instantly is the exception. Making a steady income month in and month out is a lot of work.
Bottom line is traffic. More traffic = more money. You can help with good content, blending, SEO, links, but no traffic no money. If your nitch pays low then you need even more traffic. To make big bucks you need hundreds, thousands of clicks and thousands, tens of thousands of visitors. It's all about numbers. As soon as you get some decent traffic diversify into other revenue sources. Do not put all you eggs in one basket. Google can come along, sit in your basket and smash your eggs
a year or so ago, making $150/day with Adsense was easy.. but recently I struggle to break $50/day, even though i get more traffic now (around 15,000 uniques per day, 40,000 PVs)... so i've been forced to diversify. NOW, between Adsense, Kontera, and premium membership sales, breaking $200 - $300/day is the norm..
