Hi friends, again back to the basics. would like to know what are the best ways to get backlinks. pls help. thanks
submit to directories, buy links, buy reviews, start up a contest, look for online friends and do a 3 way link exchange
submit you site to different directories, take some link form other good quality sites but not to buy links because google is panalizing buy links. Try some social bookmarking sites Cheers
Lately I've been getting lots of new links from free social bookmarking sites (such as Squidoo) showing up in Google Webmaster Tools. And these are mostly the coveted deep links. All for free.
Social media website are good. Do searches for directories in your niche. Create satellite sites and link to your sites. Article marketing. Guest blog posting. Create linkable resource (example: http://www.mclovinidmaker.com ) and then link to your website from it...or redirect the page after some time. There's tons of ways to do it. You just need to do a little google soul searching.
Download roboform free form filler and try the free directory list in my signature. Easy backlinks, but time consuming submitting. Happy Link Building
now, that is what i call "bad advising" buying links is a violation to google's rules. you will be penalized, as a consequence, your web pages or your website will not be indexed. even, putting your website to directories, may even jeopardize your ranking because lots of directories are seemingly trusted but are actually link farms.we must be vigilant. 3 way linking is not even good, one of those three is not guaranteed of backlinks. anyways, it's better to have one-way linking (which takes time but worthy of spending time to) and link exchange (only to sites related to yours and with page rank same as yours).
Submitting articles has worked best for me. Good ones are ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, articlegarden.com Good Luck
depends what your site is built for. i would say buy links, exchange, offer great services and content the links will build themselves
Squidoo is at http://www.squidoo.com/ In addition to that, here's a pretty extensive list of social bookmaring websites — http://seotips4free.blogspot.com/2008/03/150-social-bookmarking-sites.html. Some will be nofollow; others are dofollow links. They should all be free signups. I haven't checked them all out, so use your own good judgment.
Really? Do you really believe that you'll be removed from the Google index for being linked to from another page? Do you have any idea how easy it would be to get a competitor removed from the index? The worst that will happen from a link to your site is nothing. Caveat: its possible that if you generate an absurdly large number of links in too short of a time you'll get penalized, but its got to be a ridiculous number. Otherwise going popular on Digg, and the links that come from it, would get you deindexed, when its quite the opposite. Seriously, don't buy into the Google propaganda. Their algo isn't that smart, hence all the hand editing. Thanks for the laugh.
do normal way on link building -directory submission -make blog -forum posting -blog comment -social bookmarking but make sure that all was quality and can give your site real and good output.
nothing comes easy.....I've found that the more popular your site becomes, the more directories want to add you. I remember that (in 2003), I'd get rejected from 1 out of every 3 submissions. 5 years later, now I'm a PR 3 and there is probably 1 reject for every 30 submissions. Nowadays, people are sending me unsolicited e-mails asking for site links (they already added me to their page). Bottom line: its takes a lot of hard work, but eventually it becomes effortless because you're something everybody wants a piece of!!!
A good place to start is to submit to directories. Start with the free ones and then decide whether pay ones are worth it for you. Here's a great place where you can find a free directory listing that sorts them by PR, Alexa rank (worthless), and more: http://www.tipsntutorials.com/Top-Directories/ and also check out http://www.isedb.com as it lists thousands of place you might find worth submitting to.
