Why is my Meta Tag Wrong?

    my site is internetbusinessdaily.net

    the description when i search for the homepage in google is always wrong. It is never what i set the meta description to be. Can anyone explain what i am doing wrong?

    Sometimes it takes Google awhile to stop displaying it's own snippets and start using your meta description, this happens with new websites. I don't see any coding or format errors so the most you can do is just wait. Sorry I could give you a better answer.

    I saw my site was indexed on the 6th, and my meta tags were correct then. I also know that Google is using an irrelevant desc. from my site right now. It took a piece of my ratings text.. 1 star 2 star etc. Does it take time for them to switch the desc. even after they index my site again?

    i think there must not be a problem with your site try to search it again there is no problem in fact there

    it keeps updating to the wrong meta tag...here's what it shows now:

    April 1st, 2008 by Matthew Berman. I was just adding a couple entries into Google Calender and found something that I believe is an April Fool’s joke. ...

    This is from one of my posts. My site was last spidered on the 6th. Any ideas what could be wrong?
