You must get quality backlinks for your site, link exchange with other relative site, it will help your site w/ your ranking....

perform on page optimization and off page optimization means make some linking and try to mix up the link quality
but dont make so many links in a short time keep link quantity in your quality otherwise google will panalize your site .....
