Penalized again?

This morning i saw that my site olympicbeijing2008games.com

is being penalized again. it was ranking ok for its age (its a new site).
however it just don't rank for the keywords it used to rank.

can somebody help me here?

take a look at the offsite factors.

it's not online factor problem IMO.

It is difficult to perceive whether it is penalty or not.

I would recommend you to post following :-

a) Keyword for which it was ranking on top
b) Search engine ( regional / global )
c) Did you make any changes in your website in the past few days ( before seeing a drop on Google)

However, I do not necessarily think that your site has receive any sort of penalty. Your website is listed on page 11-15 for "Olympic Games Beijing".

It could be possible that other competitor websites are receiving more backlinks which might have pushed your site down to page 11-15.

 

dont worry nowdays this is common....as you mentioned your site is new this may be one of the reasons---try to get some good links from related sites...

New sites have a New content Boost which help them rank well in google as google love new content.

But this high ranking dont last for long, and after few days, you will see a decrease in search results ranking for new sites.

I hope it is that thing and not penalty.

 

I checked my backlinks... I have 471 backlinks and my site is 16 days old..

this makes average of 33 per day. It should be normal. But still I'm not ranking for the keywords i did.

Could be the google update everyone here is talking about. Your not the only one who lost his position.

 

I agree with angilina, it's very difficult to maintain top ranking for a competitive keyword with a new site. Your rankings will become more stable over time.

 

Serps moves regularly and you keeps on going up and down. For such a new site, any statement can not be made that u got penalized
