What is a hub page?

I received a content writing project and one of the things I'm supposed to write is a hub page, and frankly, I don't know what it is. He said that I'm just supposed to write a about the site and the products it sells.

    What is a hub page?

    Thanks.

I saw Hubpages articles get a strong SERP in Yahoo. And Many people said that they got success on Hubpages and make money from there. Great revenue sharing site, you could get $100/day or more there. I think that's really great opportunity for every Writer Here. :)

Sample articles are to be more conversational, generally speaking, and not like the regular content sites. As it is a social network site as well

sample articles mean, you cannot copy and paste from your own site. They will find it out. you need to change a lot and paste it.

also they allow only 1 or 2 links to your site. So use it judiciously.

A Hub page is a simple central identity through which you give links to other entities as such as Blogs.. but never link back to both blogs.. its just a promotion technique which is widely used now a days in SEO..

    Thanks
