There are too many self acclaimed internet marketing 'gurus' out there right now...Your best bet would be to do a google search and see if they can even market themselves and their service before approaching, Make sense?
thats a great idea, or at least some sort of proof, screenshots of current campaigns are a good idea, i know i always keep screenshots when my sites reach first page rankings
Once you ask this question, you have opened up a large can of worms. What you are looking for is a joint venture with a partner or partners. and one of the best ways I know how to approach that..is by personal contact. Find websites in your niche..and get on their mailing lists...see how they market to you first. Then approach them. Just my 2 cents

Not to too my own horn (maybe just a little bit), I built up and now operate the largest website in my current niche. I have sitelinks for a few high hitting keywords and rank number 1 in the SERPS for many major keywords.
By offering equity, it automatically becomes a partnership, because you are no longer the sole owner/sole-proprietor and are working with someone else who owns a portion of your business. So technically, you are looking for a joint venture, with marketing work being the 'buy-in' for whoever becomes your partner.

Everybody knows the best way to get an online marketer to do all of the hard work for you because you don't know dick about making a successful website is to speak to the mass community in a condescending voice.
