On my home page of my blog the adsense ads are totally diffrent from the content. But If I go to one of my post then the adsense ads show up corectly. Why is this?

    homepage: wrong ads

The hompage has more keywords though, I wonder if it has something to do with using bloggers built in adsense widget. Maybe if I post the actual adsense code in the HTML widget i will get better results.

    Hello Tyler!
Well, this can happen because of the content is found as duplicate content or your meta tags are not quite relevant to your blog content. I notice you use articles from free articles directories, this will never generate you quality traffic or quality ads.

    Good luck!

P.S. try spending couple days to write few original posts and see the difference in quality Adsense ads.

nethelp, this is not affecting the adsense ads. If you go to the second page I posted it is the actual blog post with the ezine article I posted. It shows the correct ads. The same blog post is also on the homepage plus more unique content but the ads are way off. Do you get what im saying?

What do you mean. Did you go to the pages? I dont understand why the one page shows relevant ads but the homepage is showing ads that have nothing to do with my page.

I see Adsense ads for credit cards.

Did you recently put this blog up? Google needs a day or two to crawl the site to determine the most appropriate ads. From what I see, Google has targeted the ads very nicely. :)

    Good luck

Yes the blog is only a couple days old. The homepage doesn't have the credit card ads on it as far as I can see.
The blog post that I posted yesterday already has the credit card ads on it.
I'm thinking that I have to wait for googlebot to re crawl my homepage before it updates.

I just went back and I see CMS ads and bathroom idea ads.

It looks like Google Adsense has not visted your site yet. Adsense targeting on the homepage is a common problem with blogs - Wordpress too. Ignore it for another day or so. If you still have problems with it, try section targeting as noted previously. However, I think Google will eventually get it right in the next day.

Yeah that's what I plan on doing I guess. It is just really weird when you go to the blog post page it shows relevant ads... I'm confused

I know it sucks, but it happens with quite a few blogs. On Wordpress blogs I can normally get it to go away by removing the blogroll, and any other references to blogs I can find. Within a few days, the problem normally resolves itself on its own.

The giveaway that Google did not crawl your site yet were the RSS ads and ads for maps on blogs. Start building some links to the site and get Google and the other search engines moving.

Here's a live link to help: Credit Card Reviews and News Google normally lists new threads from DP in its index in a matter of an hour or two. :)

I just went back to your site and it is displaying credit card ads again.

    It was on the homepage.

I just checked your homepage again, and the small ad above the posts is advertising maps on blogs while the right sidebar ad unit is displaying credit card offers.

I don't know blogger, so I don't know if it will allow you to do section targeting. If I were you, I would just ignore it for another day. Google will crawl your site and all will be well. Spend some time building some links, writing more posts, etc.
