Hello, What do you say when someone says "Paid Links actitivites are banned by people, you should not do it"? Much has been changed now, and people still following the paid links, infact, people like Aaron and other SEO's from Search Engine Land and Journal are against Google for doing this hypocrisy kinda thing. Discuss. regards, Zafar Ahmed
Paid links are will always be a way to manipluate search results; I've never had to use paid text links to rank websites for specific keywords. If you do you need to re-evaluate the way you build links and how you approach your off-page optimization. Due to the possible loss of investment I would never buy text links for my clients.
So, just use the nofollow attribute and your fine. I mean, we all advertise to generate traffic so who cares if the link passes on value; since we are advertising and not attempt to manipluate search results..... right? From a relevancy point of view how can you not understand why Google does this? If it was allowed the people with the biggest bankrolls would control the SERPs.
Paid links are better than the other option many people will resort to .... SPAM. Honestly i would say there is something inherently evil about hiring some of the worlds brightest minds to figure out how to get people to click more text ads.
As long as there are search engine rankings, people will try to manipulate them. Paid links are one of the ways to do it. Buying link is quick and simple. But there are hundrets other methods. Bannig websites that are selling links won't make the rankings un-manipulated.
I dont understand your question, what do I not understand ? I myself is paying for advertising, Yes, I am paying for nofollow links because I want people to come to my sites.
