So I have a question. Once you're getting a large amount of traffic from Google search, will you only increase in ranking and traffic? Can the search ranking drop?
Search engine rankings can and do change at a moments notice, nothing last forever. As you rise in the search results your organic traffic in theory will as well also. Try to account only about 35% of your traffic from search engines, aim the other 30% at repeat visitors (bookmarks, type-ins, etc) and the other 35% or so should be from PPC\CPM advertising.
My website has very low traffic for the last few days ? though i have optimises the site in the last few days . Done everything which is neccessary for optimisation of the site. do u tell me latest technique and algo which google follow now a days. please prove me a few free quality traffic gemerator site....
Your SERP changes depends on its update..or it could be due to high competitions of your keywords.. (Caveman has done a good job of pointing out a few possibilities and here are some other possibilities mentioned): - Change in # (or %) of pages - Semantic tweak - Dupe filter tweaked - A new technology implemented in the algo - Affiliate pages (or pages with datafeeds) are getting filtered/dampened - Decrease in weight of certain links - Over-Optimization filter (anchor text, etc) - Rate of increase or decrease in links for a site.
choose proper title for each web page, do promotion with the web page title tag. And try to get maximum high quality back links by use of that title tag in anchor for your link.
Search results ranking for new sites change often. To have a more constant position in search results, you will need lots of relevant and quality backlinks.
So please don't put all eggs to one basket. Do you know my mean? I suggest you to arrange at least 10 niches/ keywords in order to shoot up the top ranking at Google.
plz do inform me what is the latest technique to index in google ?? moreover my site has very low traffic. cud anyone tell me what shoild i do ???
More content on your site + more links to your site = more visitors to your site. It's not too hard when you think about it like that!
Sure you can drop if you stop updating your site and adding new fresh content (or if you competitors become very strong). Keep in mind other webmasters are working day and night to rank higher than you.
If your site is old, and you've been receiving consistent traffic from the past few months, you don't need to worry much. Unless and until you make a major change in your site (Like changing CMS), I don't think you'll have any problem. However, new sites tend to fluctuate in rankings - popularly known as the Google Dance!
The search ranking can drop if your niche is competitive and you have stopped promoting your site. Google also changes their algorithm from time to time this will also affect your rankings.
