    You heard wrong.
    It's true that MS are after Yahoo! but no deal has been made. The US Government will also be taking a close interest before any possible merger/take over.

    There is no link because it is not a deal. They are in negotiations and that is it. There is no deal until all parties agree and their is approval from the Government.
