Do it manually if you want, but i see no point in that. Stuffing forum with pointless comments will make visitor think its not worth to joint at all, because he does not see anything useful
the quick way is to just change the value of member count, so in statistics you have like 1k members, however they won't be seen in the members list page. Otherwise there are people offering this service for some money
