Hey guys i am just wondering if SEO consultants use any SEO Tools when working on optimizing a persons website? Or do they depend solely on their own knowledge? Thanks Will.
I use my knowledge, not software\tool suites, in theory any respectable SEO consultant shouldn't need tools\software to generate the results they need. Just another example of how people are taking money from other people for services they can't render.
I totally agree mate, i was just curious. If i was to pay someone to perform SEO on my website i would expect them to use their own knowledge and skills rather than using a program designed for people with little to no knowledge about seo. Will.
I use the following: SEO for Firefox - Free from SEOBook Rank Checker - Free from SEOBook SEOelite - Paid WEBCEO - Paid SEO Spyglass - Paid Google Toolbar - Free Roboform - Paid
They optimize other peoples websites. I am sure there is more to it than that however thats basically it. Will
We do everything related to SEO & SEM, in fact if you view my thread in my signature related to my SEO services you'll see why I'm so popular. Look at some of my reviews and iTrader to see
My guess would be Wordtracker...everything else can be done for free. Hell, even wordtracker's stuff can be done for free it just adds more time to the project.
check out this nice list of pro SEO firefox add-ons. http://www.searchenginejournal.com/seo-firefox-plugins/6564/ i found it very useful
Spyfu is so inaccurate that it can't be taken seriously! That site is a joke. I tried it on my company's site here at work, and the data was SO far in left field. It wasnt even close. I tried it on my own sites and had the same results.
i have tried seo tool like SEO for Firefox Rank Checker and for keyword choosing always use adword data and i found them good and i also suggest you to use them.
I use: Keyword Discovery SearchStatus Google (inurl, intitle, link) and some other more secret, but free tools
Seems like there is a small trend in some tools that seo consultants or well you guys use. I may have to try some. Thanks for everyone who has replied up to now
