Yahoo directory only accepts paid listings as of 2004 or so, don't remember the exact year...it's listed in the member's panel.
The hard part is reaching into your wallet to get the credit card to spend $300. However, they do accept free non profit listings.
That might be a good eBook: "299 Ways to Get Quickly Listed in the Yahoo Directory." I bet there would be some buyers too. lol
Ive always found it impossible to get listed..... because i wont fork out $300 for a listing that may potentially be rejected.
If you have a regional website, like "indian food" then you may get into the in.dir.yahoo.com in a slightly faster time and the review is also a bit polite the dir.yahoo.com really impossible these days unless you have the $$$ anyways, try to submit your site in your regional yahoo directory and you may be listed a bit faster! [Note: it used to happen a long time back, not sure if its still that way]
Pay the company and get listed. - Simple as that. I know someone who has successful submitted about 10 commercial websites (paid) and all have been approved.
Son... when you'll grow... you will find out that in this world everything is possible if you have deep pockets.

To see if members thought it was hard to get on to Yahoo directory, thought that was clear? I was under the impression it was almost impossible to get on to yahoo directory and was not sure if i was mistaken for another directory. Now it is clear that many people think it is hard. Will.
