I've never heard of it. Looks cluttered and oriented around making every last possible cent off of visitors instead of providing them with a good experience.

The only good thing I got out of that site are a couple of ideas I can use for my site, like that video. :D

If I understood him correctly, he said, as an example, you get fifty cents for every 1,000 views on your page in yuwie.

He says: "...now that may not seem like much, but it adds up, fast..."

Well, the thing is, YOU have to go out and find those people to visit your yuwie page!

Why do that for VERY little money, when you can get MUCH more directing them to your own site instead?

And think of all the work you have to put into it, just for a few cents here and there. Do you realize how many sites, how many people you would have to tell about your page?

    Fuck that noise.

That is, IF I understood him correctly.

They pay the users very little money, but reap the big benefits from volume, and from their ads.

Say, they get 1,000 users like you. You each get, say, 100 people coming to their site. They will not pay out much for this, but they will get thousands of dollars from advertisers because they now have 100,000 more visitors coming to their site from those 100 users.

I wouldn't say they are scamming people, but they are tricking them, sort of speak.

It's a good strategy, and a great sales pitch, though.

You can only make real money from it if you got in early and referred hundreds of people. Then you'd probably be making a nice passive income from their efforts.

    Now?

    Not really.

Some of the responses are correct...You do get paid peanuts for personal views...However, if you do build a network of people, the geometric progression principle can create a huge residual income...The highest level of payout is the 10th level where most of your hits should be anyways. I am looking for people who see the big, long term, picture. here is my personal profile and the promotional video.

Ive been with Yuwie for a little under a year now, and before I joined I didnt know the first thing about affiliate networking. Despite all the bad noise going around about Yuwie (just look at TouchAshleys review) they swelled to nearly 700,000 members in their first year. Granted not very many of them at all are currently active, but quite frankly the site isnt all that great unless you make it so

Ive used Yuwie on and off and currently have a downline of over 2,300 which pays me a small sum each month. If my tree were active throughout the whole thing instead of a few key individuals, I would already be earning a couple hundred a month for free. The simple problem is the site is new and has a bad rep thanks to spammers that dont have the slightest clue how to actualy make money with Yuwie

If you've been debating joining, you can always sign up with me and have help getting the ball rolling. My link is http://r.yuwie.com/12265

I've got to get more in the loop on these things lol! :) I just heard of yuwie on another forum four days ago, saw the big picture and signed on. It seems to me like there couldn't be an easier sell out there!... I mean, it seems like EVERYONE is into social networking with the popularity of myspace and facebook... so it seemed like a no-brainer that you could EASILY get people to copy and paste their profiles from those to this new site being they could then make money for doing something they already do anyway...... wasn't aware it had bad press then though haha. Anyways, since I've signed up, I have a few referrals and am over 1,000 for my views already... not that that'll make me any cash, right? haha I'm really disappointed at reading the above post that indicated they had over 2,100 in their network but weren't even in the triple digits in residual.... may have to rethink this one!:(

Haha I have to say they did a great job with the service...I know the guy who developed it, ran off an idea that I had called Post4Cash...I still own that domain but nothing ever came of it because at the time I didn't have the coding experience to build that kind of a site. Looks like he did a pretty decent job though considering the ad revenue he's bringing in.

Whatever, Affiliate Marketing was the best thing I ever did anyway--probably making more than he is :)
