Adsense Opening in new window! new feature ?

I have noticed that recently some sites are opening adsense ads on new window, when clicked by a vistor.

Checkout the page below for an example :

    http://www.playfreeonline.net

Anybody knows if it is legal to do that? If so, how can I implement the same?

    Thank in advance.

Hopefully your not tempting people to click to check this, i doubt they have changed that, if you have altered the code in anyway to make this happen this its against their TOS.

If its genuine then its new to me.

Check out Adsense TOS to be sure it is legal

Adsense does allow opening links in new window to certain publishers with huge amount of traffic and earnings. For premium publishers its already there.

I guess they are kind of premium publishers..
But, premium publishers are also not privileged with this facility afaik.
