MiniJuegos.com miniclip.com newgrounds.com flashgames247.com are they the same?
You might also consider promoting affiliate programs dealing with mp3 downloads and ringtones, as you might attract the right audience for those products.
Thing is with new grounds and miniclip is they publish the content that other people put on their arcade sites, so its no wonder they are the ones with the most traffic and revenue.
Like most types of sites, it really depend on the one who runs it. With game sites, a lot has to do with getting as much returning visitors as possible. Of course if they signed up, you be sure they would be coming back time and time again. If Adsense does not pay, you could consider selling ad space or use other ad services which pays more. People love things which are unique.
But sites such as Miniclip are highly valued by Google, they have a high page rank and several link back as well as extremely targeted keywords. Some advertisiers may choose to advertis on miniclip directly through adsense, maybe this is why they are getting alot of revenue from their adsense. You can't really be sure unless you mail them. Site such as miniclip also don't just depend on adsense, they depend on various adserving programmes.
