The point made across tons of threads is that many people will twist or ignore facts that conflict with their religious beliefs . . . regardless of how meritless or how foolish they look.

Oh... So that means even Whiptail lizards make temporary pairs for reproduction...

After reading all the posts, I was starting to get nervous... Something didn't feel right.. But now I know...

    Thanks :)

In regard to original question, I support that Muslims can build their mosques as Christians can build their churches and Jews can build their synagogue as long as every one pays with their own money but it doesn't mean that I believe in the religious nonsense.

Your mistake was that instead of discussing the original question, you started to discuss Islam and looking for converts but most people here are educated and not so easily fooled by the type of BS that your religious friends use in their "marketing" material. ;)

I am far away from looking for converts. Every one is free with what they believe, and I think that muslims in England have right to build mosques.

Yeah, Because that was the point you were initially making... Oh wait, No it wasn't. It only became the point you were making after people far smarter than you gave examples of something which you assumed didn't exist and you were left pasting random snippets of text in the hope that some of it, at some point, will support something you have said.

The dishonesty of the religious. It's always fun exposing it.

Why do you say that? stOx may be is to aggressive in his dislike of religion but what he is saying is that there is 2 type of religious people; those who sincerely believe in what they say and therefore when they meet different views then they try to have honest discussion and defend their views as best they can and those who are aware that their "belief" is nonsense and doesn't match with reality but try to hide and ignore the facts and continue with the marketing of their product which is religion.
In your case, ignoring part of the posts and pretending ignorance when you were presented with the facts, unfortunately gave the impression that you belong to the second group.

Everything has a pair, male and female, it dosen't matter if the thing is asexual, it still has a pair, ziya was very clear in pointing that out but some of you just can't grasp it?. Nothing has been deunked at all, infact if anyone has been debunked it is stox and gworld for not backing up their claim that islam is just lies (because they cant).

For a guy who didn't know beast means animal, I wouldn't be surprised if you don't understand this "This species is made up of all females", may be you should look up in online dictionary for the meaning of ALL or FEMALE.

    Main Entry: all
    Part of Speech: adjective 1
    Definition: whole

Gauhajk,Thraxed, and ziya, do you all lack the ability to read? Ziya is NOT right at all. Here is the question Ziya asked:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=7254927&postcount=75
    Here is the my response:

"New Mexico Whiptail" lizards are 100% asexual
    http://www.zo.utexas.edu/research/txherps/lizards/cnemidophorus.neomexicanus.html
"This species is made up of all females. Reproduction occurs through parthenogenesis." (asexually)

Do you know what all females mean? If you don't know, that means no males, they don't have male parts physically, genetically, or biologically, they are only females.

New Mexico Whiptails have no pairs.

I agree, sorry Ziya, I understand your great confidence in Islam, but you were answering without really knowing much about the topic.

Does that mean you can't prove that the Noah's ark was real?

I m not sure what this has to do with what I said, but for me Noah's ark was real, its mentioned in Quran, and since I believe Quran is the words of God, then I believe Noah's ark is true, it does not mean I follow whatever been said in Quran with close mind, but I found many proofs that Quran is the words of God, one of many is the verse that been the subject of the discussion in the previous posts,

somebody been referring to that verse saying it was speaking about pairs which is true, and between quotations somebody mentioned (male and female) although there was no mention to male and female when pairs were mentioned in that verse, and it was speaking about everything not only biological things, Ziya made a question implying that everything created in pairs of male and female, take a pair of socks for example, does that mean one is male and the other is female, the verse meant everything created in pairs, whether its human, animal, bacteria, or metal ..etc, and there is no contradiction with the modern science, and what human beings been able to know since more than 1400 years till now.

In case you missed it, I posted a link to the answer in a previous post in this thread.

Make a list of ALL animals and put it in a spreadsheet like excel and then multiply the average weight of each species by 2 (for a pair) and calculate the total weight. I promise you that most likely a modern day super tankers will not be enough to carry the weight and the space necessary. :D

I believe you should leave some stuff to faith. If you can't explain it, then believe God made it possible. Thats faith... :D

I agree that faith is blind trust and you can have it to anything that you like, that is part of individual freedom but don't ask any intelligent thinking man to believe in it. :)
