Olympic Flame loses its shine

    I wondered what other DP's thought of the Olympic flames trip through Britain - just one giant rugby scrum - makes a mockery of the whole thing.

    It means the Tibetans can't be swept under the carpet. Although I dont condone the olympics being dragged into
    this there is no other way to get media attention on such a large scale.

    Too bad that politics are involved in the world of sports...The Olympics appeared in the Ancient Greece as a sign of peace and understanding...it seems to me we forget to easy our symbols :(
