Who is the most trustable hosting provider on DP?

The hostgator owner only comes to reply to people's complaints.

Hostgator isnt the best here, as they have some weird types of sites not permitted.

Well you can add us to the list who won't allow them.

If you have 100 sites on your topsite list each with 10,000 pageviews a day. Your little topsite button is now generating 1,000,000 pageviews a day.

These may seem like little dinky sites but every visitor the sites on your list get that is a visitor on your site as well. The resources caused by this can get out of control pretty fast.

 

Not with my topsite.

The user hosts the button themselves. Not me.

 

Well I will soon launch my hosting company which will be just a small branch of our huge network so hope we get DP member's trust as I'm quite sure we will be among the bests! (Does anyone here has more than 200 servers worlwide )

I don't think that this threads logic is going to be any help to anyone. Time will only tell. A provider can be great for a couple months, but at any time, they can go downhill. What if they get grounded? Or their computer gets taken away? What happens then?

The only thing that will help anyone is teaching them to do research, and I would take reviews made on here with a very small grain of sale, the staff isn't going to verify them to make sure that they are not fraudulent. You are better off searching in Webhostingtalk.com for a reputable host.

 

Well, I would say that IwhiC and ConnectHost (and of course NetXServers) are probabaly the main known ones around DP as they are the best.

Yes I do hosting too, but I'll admit it, I'm not the best ever, I may have the money, but I'm in no ways perfect just yet. I'm still doing some small work here and there to keep it up and try to prevent downtime as much as possible (I used to have proxies and it made the server slow as can be until I started to kick them off due to high load factors generated by them and Topsites)

At least I make people happy thats what I love to hear is when people say that I know how to fix their problems. Who knows, maybe my customers will be happy when I build a server just for them.
