Hi, just wondering whether YPN is better than Adsense.

Are people making more with yahoo than adsense?

I have been testing both with the following observations. Please note that my niche will be considerably different than other sites so rate of payment, number of clicks, and ad matching might vary!

Yahoo pays much better per click.
Some Yahoo ads do not make sense (don't match) for my site
Adsense has better targeted ads and seems to get a better clickthru rate.
Adsense has lots of low paying clicks

Adsense is sensitive to the type of traffic since it can pay per thousand impressions.
Yahoo only pays for clicks so you can flood the page with cheap traffic and hope for a few good paying clikcks.

Yahoo pays much better per click. Agreed
Adsense has better targeted ads Agreed

Adsense is hands down better, but if you can as the above poster states find a niche that agrees(matchs) with
YPN... you got a good money maker there

Can I use YPN ads simultaneously with adsense on my webpages? Wouldn't they be in conflict with each other?

    I am loving adsense.

My sites Powered with adsense are giving me US$ 500+ monthly.

I believe nothing is better than adsense.

make some money with adsense but not much. - going to strip everything down and start again soon.

might try mixing yahoo with adsense (every other page or something like that.) see how it goes.

good points made in this thread.

Just go to yahoo.com , you see what they offer? Yahoo is targeted for a grown guys, so they have more advertisers in grown men niches, like real estate, automotive, finance. This is just example, but i know for sure that yahoo is paying better per click in finance, mortgage and loan niches.

You are absolutely wrong. You can not use Adsense and YPN on the same page. I humbly suggest you read the Adsense TOS before giving false information to your fellow DP members.

How is it, on sites like Bebo -- it always cannot connect to the ads. And they use Yahoo! To me, that isn't very reliable -- although I can't comment since I haven't tried Yahoo! ads.
