Hello DP Members Now a days I am looking for social bookmarking. Is it useful for linkbuilding? I think Directory Submission and Article Submission is more useful than Social Book Marking. Am I correct? Please share your valuable ideas.
depends on what you are trying to get out of SB. its a good way to get your new site indexed. if you use SB sites with dofollow, you can get some backlinks as well
It depends on the kind of content you would like to promote. If you have time using both of them will be better and commenting, signatures also will help in gaining back links.
Whenever I Digg or Dropjack my articles I get page 1 or 2 for semi-low comp relevant KW within 24 hours!! VERY POWERFUL!!
The point of social bookmarking is that people will bookmark stuff they think is interesting - and other people will go look to find out what it's all about. So its about people first, traffic second, serps third. The serps can follow if many of those people that looked, liked it enough to actually link to it on their blog.
its better to do mixed link building : article submission, directory submission, social bookmarking etc.
Yes BUT when doing article marketing, Squid and/or Hubs to market and promote your site OR product, like CB products, that social bookmark that gets you on page 1 overnight for relevant KW leads those people to your site who are searching for that KW and that is one of the quickest way to get traffic and visibility as well as the benefit of it being targeted traffic.
i must say social bookmarking will not only bring backlinks but will also provide traffic..so we can say that they are useful
If you want to build backlinks by using social bookmarking, make sure to eliminate social bookmarking sites which use the nofollow.
lot's of SB sites now using the noFollow. i had quite lots of BL from them but disappeared 2-3 months ago on google update.
Digg is great for getting your site on google for keywords incredibly fast. Which will increase traffic. So that in itself makes things worthwhile.
