They've taken less than $10 on various accounts because of limitations. I have one account where I think I lost $25

I'm assuming the limitations came because of something that you've done, in which you can't re-establish? Various accounts sounds like a lot. You're only allowed to have two accounts.

Personally I think Paypal's fees are still acceptable. Try using an alternative: most of them charge more & you need to wait for the money. On the other hand, Paypal's monopoly & power to block accounts & put hold on your CC-account (even after a complaint of 1 single 'customer') is slightly worrying.

I thought there was a limit to how many transactions you can make with a personal account? I only use one account. Less hassle. Don't mind the fees.

    1-Jan-2008 to 5-Apr-2008 = $305

The download log feature isn't working fine... so couldn't get total since 2005.

Well over $4,000 for the last 2 years.. And now that they have "limited" my account they will be holding the $5,100 in the account for 180 days.. That's a lot of power for one company to have.

I've switched to Google Checkout which has much lower fees, and they don't hold your money like paypal does - all earnings go directly into your bank account.

    Why did you got limited?
May we know so that we can protect ourselves from that. :)

I never keep much money at my paypal account, i always withdrawn it to prevent that.

Check his recent blog link.... ;)

I added up my 2007 stats for my taxes, and I only lost about $35 in fees.... But then I don't make as much as the rest of you, obviously.

I wrote about it in my blog: PayPal limited
but basically they said I broke their rules regarding sexually explicit content. I disagreed and appealed, they denied the appeal..
