I have several Adsense blocks showing on the same page. 2 text blocks in my content and 1 image banner in the header. The text ads and image ads are being monitored through seperate channels. My question is this - If I split the 2 text ads into separate channels will I earn more per click? I am pretty sure the earnings per click are based on the number of page impressions to click ratio, right? Would splitting the channels therefore cutting the number of impressions in half give me a higher earning for every click?
I'm pretty sure impressions is 1 impression per page view with ads, not # of ad units X page views. I have 2 adblocks on every article page on my sites, and I get odd numbers of impressions sometimes, this would never happen if every adblock caused an impression. The only relation between page impressions and click ratio is that page impressions/clicks is how CTR is calculated. Earnings per click is somewhat random - It's based on what the advertisers bid on the keyword used to generate the ad. In other words, if the top bid is $5.00 and the fifth bid is only $.28, if someone clicks the first ad, you'll get a lot more money than if they click the fifth ad.
you should def. split the different channels. that way you know if no ones clicking on the top ads and you can just delete them. You'll know from your eCPM. I believe impressions are per ad unit displayed.
The price per click depends on performance. If clicks from your site converts to sales/leads,the price will increase over a period of time.
I wish you could see how much they were paying. It would make everything so much easier. But then we would also realize how much google is screwing us all, lol.
you can use Competitive Ad Filter from your AdSense account (AdSense Setup ) to filter ads that will show in your website. you only have to find those ads that are low payed. you should find the right ads for your niche. a simple search on google will bring some useful results.
Increase the click is the first good user experience with SEO, the LED is also such a principle, not a launch like, visit our Web site depends on user whether there will be a better user experience
Although it may seem contradictory, blending your ads with your content will help you increase CTR. I run text only ads and I blend them w/ my article text. Match the colors, fonts and layout the best you can. I usually go with two 250 X 250 text ad blocks side by side.
Is there a difference between 250x250 ads to 300x250 ads? Today i got 30 clicks but i only get $3 on it. should i update my Keywords and meta descriptions?
