Would like to know why too. I don't think it would be a problem.

I have used HostGator for a few days but they have suspended me and have been dishonest with me (I don't feel like explaining the situation all over so I'll just end here), so I switched to DreamHost and I am satisfied for the past few months I am using them (use my sig link for $50 off of your order).

The reason for that is if one company downs, you will not lose everything. But it's applied to *new kid* business only. I doubt companies like Godaddy or HG do that

Blue host or Hostmonster. They are just the same company though. What I like most of these two is that they have a chat support. Its probably just me as I don't like tech support done through phone.

I would suggest you sambahosting (www.sambahosting.com) or hostgator (www.hostgator.com) which are the best from my experience.

now i have a reseller account with sambahosting and their services are top-notch.

A lot of recommendations for hostgator! I'm using them at the moment, and have been impressed with their service so far. I've only needed to contact them once to upgrade my account, which they handled quickly for me.

Hostgator has a reputation so I wouldn't go for any other hosting solution.

I think godaddy is not a good host at all. They are good registrar but their hosting is not good.

I suggest to use hostgator when it comes to hosting.

Yea, don't use godaddy as a host. They don't specialize in that. I'm using Hostgator, so far its fine, but i've also heard bad things about Hostgator. Still Hostgator > Godaddy host.

Hostmonster, Yahoo, there's thousands of them, just search around and you'll find one.

Hostgator is a very reliable hosting. I am very pleased with them. Their plans are awesome, not expensive at all!

Ask them questions on the phone / live chat about how they plan on giving you 1tb of storage. Also tell them you plan on uploading some work which is 600gb for your business, and you require SSH. See if they let you.
