I'm seeing some pr changes. Another PR update is ongoing.

 

Whoa!!! Yahoo.com is showing a PR 1

 

I get a pr4 > pr0 and pr4 >pr0 .I was waiting pr5-6 for them.They are on my signature if want to check.I do not do anything.not spam not sell link etc.So I am dissapointed .(

 

hehehe, yahoo pr 1, lol.. google hates them so bad

hahahah rofl.. im on pr 2, on www.gtadrift.net (no idea how!) jbstuff.org (no idea how again) and damum-my.com.. got a few ideas on that one..

i dont really advertise, just links in forum sigs etc..

I'm totally stumped. I have 600 backlinks from around...idk 75 web sites. My PR is still zero. Is it because my site got too many backlinks at once?

Last PR update was about 20 days ago

- the update was 20 days ago, Maybe google had not seen those links (check using site: command on the search box, or better yet check you webmaster tools report). Just because yahoo has 600 links does not mean that google knows all those. Google is slower at discovering backlinks

- maybe the links you have were not of significant PR value

- if your site is pretty new (1 - 2 months old) you might see a PR change on the next PR update

how often does the update happen? when is the next one due. we have been stuck on pr3 a year and have done some decent advertising.

It used to be every 3 months but Google changed the frequency lately ...

But seriously there is no point in worrying about PR.
PR has ALMOST NO VALUE anymore.
Look at your traffic building instead.
Focus on how you can bring one more visitor to your site ... and then bring a 2nd visitor and so on.

we understand what you are saying and thanks for the dad-ly advice. however our clients/customers/people/hits are not my concern.....we have enough of them.

When did they get the PR? Was it recent or in the last update?

 

I thought the last PR update was back in January?

I had a site that went from PR0 to PR3 back in october. Then around January, it became a PR2.

 

Is that official?

 

Oh my site http://komirad.com/ has got 14400 inlinks reported by yahoo site explorer hehe still PR 5 though
