I am looking for a simple mailing list script, with newsletter functionality. Really cheap of free is best.

Just thought I would ask here to find out what you all use.

    Thanks
    Greg

I am looking for one as well in order to mail out proxies. Does anyone know of a mail list script similar to the one that proxy networks use?

demo only, i thought freeware. hmm, how much is the price of that if you'll purchase?

below is the screenshot of my php mass mailer. you can paste up to 50k of emails there on the right side, however sending times out always after maybe 200 or 300 emails sent. i prefer to use some applications (.exe files) for sending my newsletters.

If you're looking for a bulk mailer you can use SendBlaster The free version is limited to 100 contacts. It's about $75 to purchase unlimited copies.

You can also try Constant Contact. They have a free 60 trial, again there is a size limitation.

I still think the best for your money is Aweber. Most of the big marketers online use it. I've always believed you have to spend money to make money. PHP mass mailers etc will get your email server blacklisted. Once your on, it's tough to get off. Even if this is an optin list. The reason is that those mailers send out all of their email at one time, mail servers recognize that as spam. Other list services batch them, often are on white lists and have easy opt-out methods which are required by the SPAM laws.

you're ISP or web host will lock your account if you'll send too much emails or if they will receive complaints saying that you're spamming. :p

just make sure to send not much each day then also not to send unsolicited emails. just send emails to those who opt-in from your sites.

Hi, I will recommend you for Aweber. It is the best and really worth the small investment. If you are purchasing through me, I will provide you a 1-time 22% rebate and 10% discount there after.

PM me if you are interested.
