I read something about it, i only for the security. On godaddy my friends tell me if someone stole a name, if i can fax my credit card godaddy give me the domain back. But i mailed them and they told "it is up to the cause" So, is there anyone have some experiments about getting back a hacked domain on different registrars.

(i make a small search but could not find actual information)

well this can be possible if domain was registered with some unsecured dealer. if it was hosted at a good reputed host like godaddy and some others than it,s almost impossible to hack that domain or get back.

That's some very risky experiments to conduct to test a theory.

One thing I'll tell you from my registrar experience is it's case to case. Some
    can be resolved, others...

Being a godaddy customer i felt sorry for you, firstly if look for a domain name but dont bought it,godaddy will buy that domain in 24 hours, secondly being big and good reputed host ? like godaddy means nothing most of their customer not happy with their services anyway.pay bit more for your domain name and keep it for your self,if someone stole your domain name, dont bother to deal with that domain register. Some so called good reputed register steal domain name as well, and thats the truth.

Out of respect for my friends at the registrar, I won't reveal who the registrar
is. But I've never worked at Go Daddy.

In my experience, lots of people claim their domain names are "hijacked" when
it turns out they expired and didn't renew them on time. Then there are cases
where someone's ex-webmaster registered the domain name under their name
instead of that someone, and they claim such.

Needless to say, alleged domain hijacking cases are never easy to resolve. It
    depends on its unique circumstances.

Nope my account was hacked by this ip 61.136.63.125
The 8bp.com has now expired but I could not renew because it was stolen. That is how I found they were stolen. I was going to renew 8bp.com.

what?? You got those 2 stolen.

    How do they get hijacked??
Do you lock them, and have a valid email address and check it every day.

I forgot to reg a domain and 3 days later got it. Godaddy never has spied on my domain searches.
But to get a domain hijacked has to be awful. Fight until you get it back.

This is one exceptional case where registrars generally consider such to be a
hijacking, although the burden lies on the registrant to prove such. That being
said, contact your registrar, work with them, and be ready to provide as much
    documentation as they require.

Like I said, it won't be easy to resolve. And try not to lash out at them or else
they might not be "motivated" enough to help you.

Been there, done that. Never a happy experience...except if the name's taken
back and returned to its owner.

They got in through my hotmail account. I still can't get into my hotmail account. I'm sure they just got my email to renew 8bp.com and requested the password be sent. Then unlocked everything and transfered them. I have opened a complaint with the BBB so I'll see what happens. I'm still working with hotmail to get my account back. I had an easy password because I have had that hotmail account around 10 years. There were no restrictions back then.

    Nothing!

    Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for contacting GoDaddy.com, your correspondence has been forwarded to the Office of the President.

Our office has responded to your BBB complaint with the following information:

"Concerning the two domain names, 8bp.com and sosu.com, someone initiated a change of ownership for the two domain names from within the account itself. This is effectively the same as signing the title of a vehicle over to a new owner. Unfortunately, submitting an Invalid Whois complaint will not return the domains to the account, but merely suspends the names from being used by the current registrant until they update their information.

My dear friend, thanks for your reply and i am sorry for your domain. I understand you.I started to use Godaddy hosting service(Shared) and it is really bad.I mailed them and tell the problem about hosting(they have cookie problem, for examle you cannot use webwiz forum in a subdomain-I will also write about this) So they want me datailed info, but the comedy is i gave very detailed info before.) Then they want screen shot.I tell them, i cannot use my forum and tell this is a common problem, people write them on forums, have you fix it or not and they asked me for screen caps.) What a pity for their support service.I post them captures, of course it is a very very easy option for a 10 year old web designer. They told me, they do not get screen caps, and "how to get a scrren shot" .)

I post them 4 5 item and 4 5 email, we can say i send them 10 help request and i get nothing.Because they cant fix it.

They are big and have a lot of costumer, so they are really bad on support but was thinking this is limited for hosting. And now i learn they need an upgrade on their support.

Thanks all information, i was trusted godaddy but i think they can do noting for me if my domain is hacked.

    * i write something for their bad support service if you interested give a look
