Amazon scripts (Current)

I know most of the amazon scripts out there are pretty old or they aren't compatible with the current system amazon is using. So it would be great to make a new updated list of Amazon scripts that work.

A bunch of my old amazon sites aren't really working any more on the scripts I have running. So it would really help if I could see an updated or current list of the working scripts out there.

 

I'm going to list some tools, services, and scripts that you may or may not find useful as an amazon associate.

These are some of the things that have helped me out and some people that i know. It'd be great if we can grow this list out and make it a strong resource.

Anyone else have something that they used that has helped them enjoy more success with amazon associates program?

Thanks for this great information. I am starting out with some affiliate programs and is still trying to learn how its done and how to gain money from the internet. Well, I do hope that I can learn the tricks of the trade.

 

Does anyone know of any other scripts out there?

 

I use my own script, I looked at all the options and none of them would cut it.

That is not to say a marketed script won't work, they just weren't right for me. I know it isn't an option for everyone to have their own script.

 

I noticed on your WII shop, you have a nice little script that alerts non-U.K. shoppers of the U.S. version...is that a free script that you can share with us?

I've been looking at AOM an working myself up to buy it, but the script doesn't offer enough , compared to other scripts i'm familiar with

I have had a lot of enquiries, and I will release it at some stage but I am not sure when.

To answer your questions, I wrote it from scratch and it is not a free script I can share. I am much better off with the script, but then I am a web developer and have a lot of coding experience so it is easy for me to say go and create a script - I know that everyone has the time to learn and do so.

No release date yet!

 

I guess your referring to jus the logic that alerts non UK visitors - I coded it myself as part of the script but its not that difficult to do.

Get a free database of IP addresses here - http://www.maxmind.com/app/geoip_country - you can use that to see (roughly) which country the visitor is from. The tutorials show you how to do it in php I believe.

I only show the alert once per visit, just in case the database is wrong.

 

Actually, I was considering coding my own script, but I think I've got AOM configured the way I want it now


I am happy for someone else to do the development, the scripts I have crafted already have so much room for improvement

I am doubtful with those amazon scripts for everybody who expect traffics from search engine. But i think those sites used those scripts only possible making sale from traffic coming from adwords or non-search engine traffics.
Now, I'm doing experiment with AOM (lite version) in my site bali-store.com and seeing in the upcoming month how it can be reached from search engine.

 

I am also looking for all in one script. I dont have time to experiment, so i need one full working solution. PuReWebDev your sollurtion is fine but with montly charge? No thanks.
