SEO has come out of age and has become a reputable career option and there are multiple job opportunities that exists in the Online Industry worldwide for SEO professionals. I have tried to prepare a Questionnaire that are usually asked in SEO Interviews at various levels. Collected it with the help of various online sources and hope it will help refreshing the concepts. I have started a series of SEO Interview Questionaires on my blog & keep on checking the same for latest updates : mohitpuri dot com Part I - Search Engines - What is Google PR as shown on Google toolbar? - What is Trust Rank? - What is Search Engine Crawler? - What is Search Engine Index? - What is Latent Semantic Indexing used by search engines like Google? - What is meant by Everflux? - What is Google Bowling? - What is Google Bombing? - What is Google Supplemental Index? - What are Stop Words? - What is Google Juice? - What is Googlewhack? - What is Grey Hat SEO? - What are Hallway pages? Please help by contributing from your side as well which i can update. The idea is to build a One source library of interview questionnaires. Please Rep and rate this thread if you like it.
I would laugh my way out the interview if they asked me these questions. The most important aspect would be the web developmental abilities, which should be excellent well before anyone gets into search engine optimization. 70% of these questions would be useless.
These questions are being asked for the beginner level positions say 4-6 months of experience in link building and want to be a SEO. These are just a few initial ones i want to build a complete Interview Questions directory for SEO Professionals. A few more are updated at my blog. I would request you to post some questions that you think are usually asked so as i can update. The purpose is to share and get questionnaires.
So, you want me to provide you with content for your blog? Sorry, you should really base your blogs content on unique stuff you write or come up with. Honestly if you can't generate the questions correctly yourself how can you accurately judge if another persons questions are proper or not? I just don't see the "concept" of what your trying to achieve.
I just wanted you to provide the Questionaires for the community not for myself or for my blog. What i wannt to achive is just to have information sharing as everybody has gone through different questions been put up in the interviews. Thanks anyways. Don't want to get out of the main objective.
Some of the questions that an interviewer could be asked are - How to do seo for dynamic websites? - What strategy would you follow for link building? - How to distinguish between relevant and non relevant links? Some of the above are basic questions but nevertheless important.
since this is for beginners, first Q to ask would be "what is SEO" you may laugh, but i have heard of people going for tech support job who didn't know how to use ctrl+alt+del to login to NT platform
