I had seen friends leaving India to go overseas for work. That was a few years ago, nowadays the trend seemed to be reversed with many Indians being hired back to India to work. Salary and benefits are much better in India nowadays.

Well these days scene has totally changed. people are very much into their jobs in India only. Amny reasons. Due to large inflow of companies, FDI and also satisfaction. Charm of goin abroad is good but what you are goin to face there nobody knows. I know many of my frens who tell that there is variation in work period for Indians in abroad.

I do have plans to leave my country due to security issues and political instability plus very low wages.

Leaving your motherland would be traumatic but if situation warrants, then pack your baggage.
PS : Never forget your country. It is where you are born and brought up. Do something for the betterment of your country in return :)

People from Indian sub continent have a hidden dream in their mind to leave their motherland one day and go to US or Europe.
    India,Pakistan,Bangladesh - all the same here.Political unstability,corruption,poor livings,security-everything sucks here.
The OP actually referring to these people, not to the US or UK people, why will they leave their motherland? :D

It's ok to leave your motherland if you are not happy there, there are other places
where you may prefer to live.
