I have a product I've been promoting for a while. I'm seeing good traffic to the site, but low conversions.

Can some of you more experienced gurus provide some suggestions I what I may be able to add/change to help with conversions?

    http://www.ultimateweddingpack.com

    THanks,

    Jeff

It's too bright for one.. the background pink is killing me..

And the side mailing list signup is cheap like.. I would have it as pop up instead, it doesn't look good there.

Site design for sure, at the moment it looks really cheap and unprofessional.

I would remove the mailing list sign up as well as it pushes everything off centre which makes it look unbalanced, use a pop up or put it in the main section somewhere.

Some of these have already been mentioned.

    1. sign up form needs to either be pop up or further down the page in the sales letter not outside it.

    2. The Background should make the letter stand out. The pink is over powering. change the color to lavenderblush all one word. this is a much softer pink.

    3. If you are not going to get professional web design, then take your header and change the height to 125 - 130.

    4. I would get rid of everything from the beginning to the testimonial. Start with

"Plan A Wedding You Can Be Proud Of -Without Breaking The Bank! - HEADER

"You Don't Have To Be Rich To Have An Unforgettable Wedding Ceremony! (And No One Will Ever Know You Did It For Less!)" - Sub-heading

    Much more attention grabbing.

then testimonial then right into your sales page.

    5. Call out like "See How Easily You Can Throw The Wedding Of Your Dreams On A String Budget" should be a different color. Not red but a different color. and they should all be the same color.

    6. After ..here is just SOME of the information you will find inside:
You need to have makers for your bullet points. checks are the most common but you need something to separate them

These are some basic changes. With a sales letter you fix the big stuff first. then you start reading paragraph by paragraph changing verbiage, using more call to actions, etc.

Hope some of this is helpful.

For the users who scroll down to see the price first, they see $149 and may be clicking away without ever seeing the actual price. You could also try giving away a free ebook for there email so you can follow up, instead of the sign up on the left (I wouldn't think thats working to well) I think most of your sales for this would come with the follow ups.
    Hope this helps, good luck!

Hi Jeff, I think the product has potential, I do think that the target audience would prefer a better presentation, you can check out marthastewart wedding or theknot dotcom to get some ideas.

Thanks to some help from PurrSnickety, the new design for http://www.ultimateweddingpack.com is now online.

Please take a look and provide some feedback. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get an email/free tip signup form. What are the opinions of slide in or pop over signup forms?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Nice. The proof will be in the conversions but I like it a lot. Doesn't look like the typical sales page.

    Well done PurrSnickety

I think you would have to expect somewhat of a low conversion rate with this. Lots of people are searcing for weddings and such but, most are dreaming or planning way ahead of time.
