hey folks sad news here just a few minutes ago , i got a PM through msn (as i have already put my msn ID on my dp profile) he/she was insisting to buy my DP account here is the first PM then he/she offered $200 I didnt accept , i said thats illega ,etc... offered $2000 I dont if im mad to deny such an offer or not , but im sure I did the right cause thats illegal+for example i have 92 ,all positive itraders ,if he/she had my account ,may use it to scam people for $$$$$ now the question is , how to prevent such things in this great forum?! ready to give some more info to Mods to stop him/her
Yikes, flipping scammers. Who would pay that much for a DP username anyways? So they can trash someone else's rep instead of their own?
Why would they pay that amount when they could sign up for a free account like the rest of us i don t get it?

I doubt they were going to actually pay that. They are scammers, so they probably were planning on somehow tricking the OP into thinking he was getting the money so he'd give up his password. Then they'd use his account with good rep to scam DP members, especially in buy/sell/trade.
someone should start a "How much is your DP name worth?" thread. maybe even develop a script that will appraise your name based on various factors. eh anyway, damn scammers! dirty dirty worthless little scumbags! btw, my name's for sale for $4000 if anyone's interested
$4.5k is a great price! If he was willing to pay that amount then I am sure he will use your DP account for no good.
