$30 Logo & Favicon Contest

Greetings,

I have a new site and I need a logo and favicon for it.

The site is located at www.kids books 4 you (dot) com

Logo will go in the upper left corner where it is light brown. The area is small so the logo must look good small, and it needs to be something more than just the title text.

But I'm not very high on this design. The logo 'book' to the left of the text looks more like a barcode that a book, and the text looks like it reads Kids4BooksYou instead of kidsbooks4you. I'm also not real fond of the font.

I like the font, and I like the book. I wouldn't mind seeing something a little more vector as far as the book goes. I'm not sure about the background you have it on. Looks odd. I think a plain background would be fine. you might try putting the text underneath the book for this design.

 

Favicon is solid. I'm hoping for a favicon that is a mini version of the logo.

I like the simplicity. And I like that the favicon matches the logo.

But the book looks a little too much like a mustache. And the font is a little old fashioned looking. I need something a bit more kid friendly.

 

hey.
i have redone the background and put the text beneth the book. I also made i with a slight glow and 1 without it. tell me if you dont like the colors. If you wont like it i can try something diffrent

I like the font alot. Very professional looking.

I'm not particularly fond of the child the book or the stars, or the favicon.

 

I'd prefer not to use that green background. I'd rather have ti on the light beown background in the area where the logo will go on the website. I also think I'd like the book better if it were just an outline of the book from that angle, instead of an actual photo image.

I like the simplicity. Neither the books nor the font is bad.

However, it's a little difficult to read, the books are a little too bright, and the various elements of this design seem disjointed.
