I know I have seen the link on here many times (Can't seem to find it by searching) but there is a site or forum which lists the biggest forums in the world.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Im pretty sure an Anime forum tops the list if thats any help.

    Cheers

That would be www.gaiaonline.com, bigboards is almost dead though you can find quite a few large forums there.

Why do you say big-boards.com is almost dead, and if so, is there a better or new comparison site to use?

Because its owner isn’t paying much attention to it, I have heard a lot of big board admins complaining that their board hasn’t been listed, even though they had submitted months ago. Not to mention, those who are listed, can’t get the owner to edit their listings.

Sadly I don't think there is any real alternative to it, at this moment.

Big-Boards.com is the best at the moment, you can also go to vBulletin.com and see there directory, where it lists some pretty big forums using their software.

Make a topic in that somewhere on this forum and there will probably be another Big-Board type clone up :p!

Many have thought about it, in fact there was a debate regarding this on Adminfusion, but no one has gone ahead and implimented it. Mainly because one can't take a off the shelf script to make a clone of bigboards, since one needs to have a script to get the stats from different boards to update the stats displayed on site.

What question are you answering? Are you saying that those two forums are the new big-boards.com?
