To any of the UK Adsense users on here, as mentioned on another thread, are you keeping your payments on hold until the dollar gets stronger against the pound (have I said that right? )? What exchange rates are you currently getting when cashing your cheques or getting eft payments? Personally I have put my payments on hold as some forecasts are saying its going to drop from 1.98 down to 1.5/1.4 ish in may/june/july.... thats the time to take your money out . Before it goes back up to its steady point of around 1.6-1.8 Anyone have any thoughts on this? What are you all doing?
No, I'm getting those Dollars converted into Pounds. If the Pound-to-Dollar conversion rate is 1.5 in May I will eat my keyboard.
Yes, I have the same problem with the conversion to Euros. No, I am definitely not putting the payments on hold. The exchange rate is currently around EUR 0.64c to the US$, but reading some of the economic forecasts, many commentators suggest it might drop as low as 50c before bottoming out. So I would not hold your breath hoping for a sudden rise. BTW Have you ever asked why Adsense $ earnings aren't on the rise? Europeans advertisers pay in Google in Euros or pounds. So why, if half of my visitors are European and therefore fed ads from the European ad market, why my US$ earnings aren't rising as a result? The exchange rate should work both ways!! Unless Google is either offering cut-price ads based on US$ or simply not passing on the exchange differential.
I use adwords here in europe and I pay in US dollars. I hear it for the first time you can pay in Euroes as well.
