Forum Posting Competition: 3 Winners, $100, $50, $25

To get Talk-Gaming.com more active, we are starting a new forum competition.

The contest starts today (April 1st, 2008) and ends at the end of the month (April 30th, 2008).
The winners will be chosen by May 5th, 2008 and the prices will be awarded that day.

The 3 members who make the most posts during this month (April 1st, 2008 - April 30th, 2008) will win.

Here are the rules:
1) You must have the largest number of posts during the month of April 2008.
2) Your posts must be UNIQUE and ORIGINAL (not copied from another forum or another site). If you violate this rule, you will be disqualified.
3) Your posts must have substance and be somewhat informative. Posts like "welcome to the forum", "thank you for this", "good info", etc... that don't add anything of value to this forum will NOT be counted.
4) You can NOT reply to yourself or keep posting without anyone replying to your thread.
5) Posts in the New Members Introduction or Off-topic Discussions will NOT be counted.

First place will win $100.
Second place will win $50.
Third place will win $25.

The forum's looking good. I have one question about the contest, when you said: Posts in the Off-topic Discussions will NOT be counted. does that include the gaming discussion? Thanks and good luck everyone.

 

No, not the General Gaming Discussions. Just the Off-Topic Discussions section.

 

By the way, I forgot to add. Each post must have at least 10 words to get counted.

 

I do understand every point of this contest, but i wonder where can we see the list of Users participating and also where can we see the posts made by them in within the contest frame. We need something to monitor everything. So that we can get a note on the people participating and their post counts. There is a mod with Vbulletin which can help you do this. If you want some help then i can get you the access of it.
